Some projects go beyond furnishing a space. They transform it into an experience. That is exactly what OGO Furniture has achieved in this Mediterranean villa: creating an exterior that invites you to slow down, to connect with the surroundings, and to enjoy time in a different way.

MEDITERRANEAN VILLA

A villa where the outdoors takes centre stage

Mediterranean Villa is the result of an ambitious intervention on an existing building whose image was completely transformed. The starting point was the façade: large arched glazed openings that redefined the relationship between interior and exterior, making the symbiosis between the two the true protagonist of the project.

The role of outdoor furniture: where OGO comes in

At OGO, we believe the exterior is not the backdrop of a project. It is its stage.

When this commission came to us from Carola Vannini in Fregene, just a few kilometres from Rome, the architectural project already had a clear direction: warm, natural tones inside, organic materials, an architecture that looked toward the Mediterranean. Our task was to make the garden and the pool speak a different language — and still make the whole thing feel coherent.

Our response

The most important decision in this project was not which pieces to choose, but what role they should play.

The interiors were built around calm: sand tones, natural materials, filtered light. If the exterior had followed the same logic, the result would have been fine. But it would have been forgettable.

We proposed the opposite: using colour deliberately and boldly. Our Starfish and Flower collections, in their most vivid and expressive versions, create in the garden and around the pool a counterpoint that allows the two spaces to enhance each other. The interior feels more serene precisely because the exterior has a character of its own. And the exterior comes alive precisely because it speaks to the restraint within.

It is not contrast for contrast’s sake. It is colour with intention.

Starfish

Designed by Nacho Timón, Starfish collection has that rare ability to work in any context — inside the pool, on the terrace, in the garden, even indoors — without ever losing its visual identity. In this project, its presence in the pool area turns every moment of rest into something memorable. Available in S, XL and XXL, and in a wide colour palette that allows the chromatic proposal of each project to be worked with precision.

Flower

Flower takes further the idea of furniture that belongs to the water as much as to the garden. Its organic form evokes nature without imitating it, and its ability to float makes it a piece that redefines the pool space. In Fregene, Flower brings that touch of originality that makes an outdoor area truly difficult to forget.
